Unfortunate & Arbitrary decision of NCERT.

          Till last year NCERT has conducted National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for class VIII students. In the year 2012 it has conducted the written test on 13^th May 2012, where no of students appeared after they have been scrutinized and selected from their respective States.

It is official now that NTSE will be conducted in class X
no of scholarship to be 3000
amount will be 4000 per month till higher secondary level
5000 per month till graduation level
and 7000 at post graduation level

NTSE awardees are being callled for five day training Programme at Ajmer

A letter has been received by all NTSE scholars for attending a five days training programme at Ajmer, different slots are being given for the programmme
the response of this programme so far has been mix ,  however personally i recommend that students should attend the programme

Eligibility Criteria

1. Five Year Dual-Degree Program of B.Tech in Computer Science and MS by Research in Computational Natural Sciences.

1. The student must have been selected for the Indian national team or have undergone a training camp or an orientation camp at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education for any of the Olympiads mentioned below, or should be an NTSE or KVPY scholar.
    a. International Physics Olympiad
   b. International Chemistry Olympiad
   c. International Biology Olympiad
   d. International Astronomy Olympiad
   e. International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics
   f.  International Earth Science Olympiad 

2. The student must complete Class XII / Intermediate or its equivalent in the year 2010 or 2011.
