National Council for Science Museums(NCSM) is providing an opportunity to all students qualified to appear for Indian National Junior Science Olympiad[INJSO (stage-2)]2011.From this year they may appear for Indian National Astronomy Olympiad [INAO (stage-2)].They don't need to give stage-1 of International Astronomy Olympiad(IAO) From last year Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE) has done some changes in IAO.According to this changes IAO will be conducted only for Sr. Category wheares before last year it was conducted for both Jr. & Sr. Category. All the IJSO stage-1 qualified students who want to appear for IAO & also having wish to face this examination may now appear directly for INAO on the same day on 29th Jan,11 at the same test center at 9:00am to 12:00noon.
For this they have to carry their Hall Ticket along with birth certificate.If he will qualify he may go for further stages of IAO. Their responsibility of selection & training is under now NCSM as they have requested to HBCSE.The above process has been considered under Indian Astronomy
