HBCSE does gender discrimination in OSCC selection
In the recently declared IJSO result Vidhushi despite scoring eight rank has been selected and over took 2 better deserving candidates to represent India at International level. I have come to understood this has happened because HBCSE wanted female representation . This has been done to please one female official who wanted to go to south Korea and absence of any girl would have deprived her chances. Request from HBCSE officials not to compromise image of India for personal favors.

Thanks for this candid blog posting which is 100% correct. But, can you please suggest how to stop this blatant discrimination, This must be published in leading newspapers and the persons involved in this bizarre malpractice must face serious consequences for this irresponsible act. To be fair the girl should be immediately eliminated from the list and the deserving 6th rank student should go. If at all, HBCSE is so keen to take her to Korea the two more deserving candidates than her should also be taken in the India team
ReplyDeleteIt was very evident. But I think the girl's name can be removed from this post because this is incredibly disrespectful to her? It is not her fault. We all know who the 6th and 7th rankers were, but to publish Vidushi's name out here isn't justified.
ReplyDeleteWho were 6th and 7th ranker's please share
