    1. I don't think the paper was too difficult.
Do you know why last year's cutoff was so low? 40.5/100 is very low...

      Delete
    2. This year paper was more difficult than last year's paper. This paper was of90 marks and not of 100 marks

      Delete
    3. I know, because I wrote this year.
I just didn't think it was so difficult, and I feel a lot of people will get more than 30. However, 40.5 seemed absurdly low. I don't think it could dip so much this year, even with a 90 mark paper.

  5. This year's INAO paper was a little easy so I expect the junior category cutoff to be around 40-45.

This year's INJSO paper was more difficult, and nobody I know was able to attempt everything. I expect the cutoff to be around 37-43.

  7. I am securing around 31 marks in INJSO 2015 by hbcse answerkey is there any chance of getting selected in OCSC

    1. There's a chance for anyone. However you can't say exactly how much you'll get in the subjective questions because, well, they're subjective. You'll get step marks if you write down laws and equations correctly, so your score is still quite variable, say ±5 . How much did you score in the objective questions?

      Delete
  8. not so good 11.25 marks but i have add up only those question in subjective whose answer is in one word or true/false.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 11.25 is not so bad. I got 14.5.

You have a chance. especially if you get more marks on your performance card.

  9. This time the paper was v.v.tough .The cutoff wouldn't go above 30 (i think)

    1. Did you talk to other people who feel that way?
Most of my friends didn't think this year's paper was any more difficult than last year's.
I still think a cutoff of 30 is absurdly low, and 37.5 seems more accurate.

      Delete
  10. In fact, most of my friends expect around 50, they say. While I'm sure they're overestimating, it does go to show that they didn't think the paper was too difficult.

  11. To everyone else here, how much are your friends scoring? And when will HBCSE send the performance card?

  14. Are you talking about cutoff with corrected answer keys(yet to come) or tentative answer keys?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, since I don't know the expected corrections in the key, I would say the cutoff is around 45 with the current key from what I've heard. It could change by say,± 5.

    4. Vijaykrishna, aren't you that Coimbatore student who always gets AIR 1 in FIITJEE AIiTS?

Also, since you are in senior category, you got your performance card from HBCSE right? HBCSE said they would start sending performance cards only by the 19th...NCSM said they would post junior cateogry cards by the 13th but still nothing received >:(

      Delete
    5. Yes I am that Vijaykrishna. I received the card from hbcse. I don't know how I received it so early. I wrote inpho also but I didn't get performance card for that. I doubt whether they have corrected mine with the corrected key bcoz I am getting 7-8 marks less than I expected

    6. Is it better if we could communicate over email? I'm a FIITJEE student as well!

What corrections do you see in the key? I skimmed it and saw none.

  60. i got 41 in inao jr. what are my chances? pl. share your inao jr marks.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Marks of INAO Jr I know - 21.5 and 16.5. 41 seems safe.

      Delete
    2. but i expected higher. should i go for re-evaluation? i am worried as someone here said cut off would be around 38-43...

      Delete
    3. Re-evaluation may be a good idea here. 41 is a probably borderline mark. However, take into account the Rs. 500 fee, and the low chance of any marks changing. It's not very likely your marks will change - correction is almost always done properly. However, since you expected more, I think it's a decent option because 41 has a good but not great chance of being selected.

      Delete
    4. Thank you. Do we get part markings for subjective questions? because if we do, certainly i would have obtained around 10 marks more. I am also anxious about the fact that marks may get reduced.

      Delete
  61. anyone here getting below 30 in injso ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The lowest I know of is 30.5

Don't worry about getting below 30- INJSO is just one very, very difficult exam with lots of competition. If you're in 9th, you may be able to attempt and clear NSEJS next year. If you're in 10th or will be ineligible next year, you can concentrate on RMO/ZIO/ZCO and/or Senior Olympiads next year. View it as a positive clearing the first level.

    3. someone said he got 11.5 and another one got 14.5 .

    4. Anonymous, why would you want to know the marks of someone who got less than 30? It's like asking someone how badly they failed...

      Delete
    5. @Anonymous 2 Those were marks of students only in objective section.

      Delete
  62. Hello People. Do not worry. I had cleared both INJSO and INAO Jr. in class 9 last year( but couldn't make it to the International in either) . I pesonally feel both papers to be tougher this year. I think that INJSo cut off will be between 35-40 and INAO Jr. between 30-35( 40,may be.). In OCSC Marks have gone up by upto 5 percent after revaluation. So, in case you are at 45+ in INJSO, dont go for it. For those at 35-45, revaluate at your risk( This was for INJSO, read 5 marks less for INAO Jr.). Probability of marks being deducted is very low, that of increment is low,, that of no change is high.( I am not eligible this year.)
