We have been getting complains
from the parents regarding the HBCSE Olympiads exams . NSEJS,NSEP,NSEC,NSEA) conducted
in a school of Jaipur on 24 Nov. Where the teachers have reportedly helped the
students in solving the papers , as well as giving extra time to students.
There are also reports that papers were opened much before the time.

True, very true,
ReplyDeleteThey are more than two schools and not one.
Hope the same will be taken care of while scanning OMR's by IAPT.
what will be cutoff expected in different Olympiads.
Hope the students must be of liking to work as Govt servant ( As per the news of one news paper).
ReplyDeleteCenters are increasing in accordance with the increase in number of students, hence there would be least check. But as far as I can understand, Olympiads are of higher thinking & understanding of the subject. I find no one getting through any olympiad by any student who scored less than 70% in previous class.
1.There is no minimum marks criteria in the exam which is there from NTSE to entrance exams. Induction of minimum marks in previous class would reduce load of exam.
2. Team of IAPT members may be asked to visit schools / exam centers for surprise checks.
Hope it would be heard.
We also have similar experience in a Jaipur school, where students were freely discussing answers while exam was on.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happend in 90% schools in Andhra pradesh.
